Full job description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform daily checks on equipment to verify everything is running within standard levels.
Ability to support overtime on other shifts on a short-term basis by staying over/coming in early to cover for vacations and/or absences with other technicians.
Ability to train on and operate Marca, Met-L-Tec Line, or Singulus lines successfully.
Follow Standard Operating Sheets for each process of the lines.
Must be able to learn and successfully rebuild various pieces of equipment on each system. (target, paint gun, valves, etc.)
Alert the supervisor of any problems or questions regarding production, as well as document incidents.
Adjust flame treater to correctly prepare parts.
Mix the paint according to the prescribed formulas.
Track and report paint usage.
Adjust and monitor paint guns to ensure proper coating of parts.
Monitor tooling, remove, replace, and clean as necessary.
Check and document various settings and status levels as per machine condition check sheets.
Rebuild and replace sputtering targets as needed.
Responsible for meeting daily production schedules as a team effort.
Track and report output, scrap, and other items as a team effort.
Learn and perform daily maintenance as required by Standard Operating Procedures.
Monitor electronic control systems, including robots, and make adjustments and document as necessary.
Analyze the root cause of quality issues with Quality personnel.
Learn, analyze, fix, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic breakdowns as needed. Metallizer maintenance, learning, and performing how to turn off and clean.
Keep the area clean and organized.
Perform essential duties efficiently and accurately.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Qualifications:
Basic understanding and use of Excel spreadsheets.
Must be able to perform basic math.
Must be able to read and understand instructions.
Must be able to make decisions.
Must be able to retain information.
Work independently without continual supervision.
Must be able to use and read precision measuring devices.
Must have the ability to understand and monitor electronic control systems, including robots.
Environmental/Working Conditions:
Factory environment.
Subject to noise, fumes, and oily, dusty, hot, and wet conditions.
Will be exposed to moving mechanical parts.
Physical Functions:
Lift/carry: 50 pounds waist level
Push/pull: 30 pounds
Postural Tolerances:
Stand, walk, reach: frequently
Bend, stoop, squat: occasionally
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.66 – $23.16 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
